National Instruments USB-6221 Multifunction I/O Device

Featuring 16 single ended analog input channels, USB-6221 (Part Numbers: 780117-01, 780117-02, 780117-03, 780117-04, 780117-06, 780117-07, 780117-09, 780117-10, 780117-12, and 195959-02) is a Multifunction I/O Device from the M Series by National Instruments. The analog input of the device can also be configured as 8 differential channels, providing versatile connectivity options. In addition, the NI USB-6221 is equipped with 2 analog output channels and 24 digital I/O lines. Both the analog input and the analog output capabilities of the I/O device acquire samples at a maximum rate of 250 kS/s. Offering versatile features such as correlated digital I/O, analog I/O, digital triggering, and two 32-bit timers, the NI USB-6221 Multifunction I/O Device is an excellent choice for a wide range of applications in manufacturing test, laboratory automation, design test, research, and more.

Part number 780117-01 (USA) has a voltage of 120 V, while number 780117-02 (Swiss) reaches a voltage of 220 V. Part numbers 780117-03 (Australia), 780117-04 (Euro), 780117-06 (U.K.), and 780117-07 (Japan) each have a voltage of 240 V. Part number 780117-09 (Korea) has a voltage of 220 VAC, while the voltage of part number 780117-10 (China) is 220 V. Part number 780117-12 (Taiwan) has the lowest voltage at 110 V. In addition, part number 195959-02 represents the board only version of the NI USB-6221 I/O Device.

By using compatible signal conditioning accessories (SCC or SCXI), the NI USB-6221 is capable of high-voltage measurements. The digital I/O lines of the device can be used for pulse-width modulation to control lamps, pumps, valves, fans, motors, and other equipment. The digital lines featured on the NI USB-6221 device can drive 24 mA signals.
