National Instruments NB-MIO-16XL Multifunction I/O Board

The NB-MIO-16XL is a multifunction digital, analog, and timing I/O board. The NI NB-MIO-16XL is specially designed for analog input signals at lower levels. The developer of this Multifunction I/O Board is National Instruments. The NB-MIO-16XL board has been assigned unique part numbers for convenient identification based on its conversion speeds and associated gain ranges. The NB-MIO-16XL (18) has a conversion rate of 18 μs and a designated part number of 776259-01. The NB-MIO-16XL (42) has a conversion rate of 42 μs and a part number of 776259-02. The NB-MIO-16XL can also act as an interface for the RTSI bus from National Instruments.

This Multifunction I/O Board offers 16 single or 8 differential input channels. The NB-MIO-16XL comes with 16-bit analog resolution and a successive approximation ADC. The analog input voltage range of the interface is ±12 V. The input bias current is as low as ±25 nA. The device offers multiple software selectable gains of 1, 10, or 100 to 500. The NI NB-MIO-16XL offers two types of data acquisition rates ranging from 22 ksamples/sec to 55 ksamples/sec for both types. There are 2 DAC output channels and 4 timing I/O channels on this board.
