National Instruments 197546-01 Serial Cable
Designed to support the RS485 serial protocol, the 197546-01 is a Serial Cable. This cable comes with nine connectors. Eight connectors provided in this cable are male, DB-9 connectors. The other end of the cable terminates into a 68-Pin, Male VHDCI connector.
The availability of multiple DB-9 connectors makes this cable capable of connecting to multiple types of serial devices. When combined with a PCI Express Serial Card, this cable allows you to turn a single PCIe slot into eight serial interfaces. Moreover, you can use this cable to achieve direct connectivity between serial interfaces on accessories and devices.
The cable and the connectors provided in the NI 197546-01 cable are fully shielded. Thus, the cable can be used in high noise environments where ordinary serial cables are not desired. The length of the 197546-01 cable is 1 meter.
