National Instruments M12 Multifunction Cable
The National Instruments M12 (Part Numbers: 196648–05 and 196649–05) is a Multifunction Cable, which can be used in conjunction with the National Instruments NI-9921 or NI-9922 Outdoor IP Enclosure. These Outdoor IP Enclosures are used to house devices from the NI WLS-9000 Series. The NI M12 Multifunction Cable has a length of 5 m and two different configurations available. Part number 196648–05 is a 2-Pin female connector to pigtail cable, while part number 196649–05 is a 4-Pin male connector to pigtail cable. This cable is unshielded and does not have twisted pairing.
The National Instruments M12 Multifunction Cable connects to the outer M12 connector of the enclosure. A separate cable is used to supply power from the outer M12 connector to the power connector of the housed device. This cable is made to function with National Instruments’ high-performance devices.
