NI TRC-8546 Transceiver Cable

The TRC-8546 (Part Numbers: 154081-02, 783702-01, 783702-02, 783702-03) is a LIN Transceiver Cable from National Instruments. The NI TRC-8546 provides flexible connections between the LIN bus to the PXIe-8510 or NI-9860. Moreover, the TRC-8546 Transceiver Cable can also be considered for data communication between the LIN bus and the native National Instruments XNET port on the cDAQ-9134 or cRIO-9135 Controllers. The TRC-8546 is an isolated cable, which comes with the required transceiver for the specified bus type. 

The transceiver used in the TRC-8546 supports a LIN 2.2 physical layer. With this Transceiver Cable, a baud rate of 20 kbps (maximum) is possible. The NI TRC-8546 Transceiver Cable weighs 2.5 oz. and is 17.6 to 18.2 in. in length. The transceiver of the TRC-8546 (NXP TJA1028) comes with internal voltage regulation. This LIN Transceiver Cable is designed to work at bus line voltages between -40 to +40 VDC and consumes up to 180 mW of power in typical operating conditions.
