National Instruments PCI-Step-4OX Open-Loop Stepper Motion Controller 

The PCI-Step-4OX is an Open-Loop Stepper Motion Controller from the ValueMotion Series by National Instruments. The NI PCI-Step-4OX is specifically designed to offer completely programmable motion control for a maximum of four separate axes of motors. The PCI-Step-4OX is a family member of value-motion series boards presented by National Instruments. This Stepper Motion Controller can be utilized with the ValueMotion software for multiple programming functions. The PCI-Step-4OX can be operated with various application programs such as LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and BridgeVIEW. The NI PCI-Step-4OX is operated with Windows operating systems. This Stepper Motion Controller can be used with connector blocks, UMI connectivity blocks, cables and cable assemblies, and several other types of accessories.

The NI PCI-Step-4OX is compatible with computers that have an open PCI slot. The PCI-Step-4OX can only perform operations in open-loop mode. This Stepper Motion Controller also has I/O for limit and home switches. The National Instruments PCI-Step-4OX can additionally operate in general functions too.

The NI PCI-Step-4OX has a frequency of 750,000 steps/s for stepper motor motion control. The PCI-Step-4OX Controller can function within an I/O voltage range of 0 to 5 V. The PCI-Step-4OX is built with a 50-pin male box header for the auxiliary 24-bit digital I/O connector. There is also a 50-pin male box header for the main I/O connector. The National Instruments PCI-Step-4OX Motion Controller has a maximum power consumption of 6 W.

PCI-Step-4OX Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
