National Instruments PXI-1470 PXI Vector Signal Analyzer

The PXI-1470 is a PXI Vector Signal Analyzer. The NI PXI-1470 analyzer is designed and launched by National Instruments. The PXI-1470 is not a stand-alone module. The NI PXI-1470 is a complete modular kit that contains different components and modules. The main modules that come with the PXI-1470 kit are the PXIe-5622 IF Digitizer Module, the PXI-1430C RF Downconverter Module, the PXI-1450B Oscillator Source Module, the PXI-1420 MW Downconverter Module, and the PXI-1410 Pre-selector Module.

The PXI-1470 PXI Vector Signal Analyzer incorporates a 26.5 GHz processor. The internal storage of the NI PXI-1470 Analyzer is 256 MB. To achieve the best performance from the PXI-1470, it should be calibrated at regular intervals. The calibration interval recommended by the manufacturer is 1 year. Another precaution for using the NI PXI-1470 is that it should be warmed up for 20 minutes. The maximum power required by different modules in the PXI-1470 analyzer kit is different for each module. The minimum power consumed by the PXI-1420 module that is 11 W. However, the PXIe-5622 requires the maximum power up to 33 W. The resolution bandwidth of the PXI-1470 Signal Analyzer is in the range of 100 Hz – 50 MHz. The PXI-1470 VSA supports different triggering modes, including software edge, I/Q power edge, digital, and disable edge.  

The PXI-1470 Vector Signal Analyzer supports Windows Vista/7/8/8.1. The installed operating system must include all important updates and service packs. The instrument driver required for the NI PXI-1470 Analyzer is NI-RFSA 2.9. The other required software is PXI-1470 Support.

PXI-1470 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the PXI Vector Signal Analyzer will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
