National Instruments PXI-2800 PXI Carrier Module for SwitchBlock

The National Instruments PXI-2800 (Part Number: 781420-00) is a framework module for SwitchBlock that can hold up to six SwitchBlock relay cards and takes up four PXI slots. By interfacing a few SwitchBlock relay cards through the bus, an integrated system integrator, the user can easily make huge arrays that have more than 2,000 crossing points on four PXI slots and more than 8,000 crossing points on a single PXI chassis. Intended for mechanized test frameworks with high channel counts, SwitchBlock cards give intuitive option to setup, routing, programming and maintenance of the switch. This arrangement of new relay cards incorporates multiple two-wire switches for differential estimation and 16 row switches that deliver a more noteworthy number of simultaneous associations for extensive switching applications. SwitchBlock involves an expandable carrier that suits up to six relay cards, while occupying only four slots in a PXI chassis. Up to four SwitchBlock carriers can be combined to form internally routed matrices with as many as 8832 crosspoints in a single PXI chassis.
