National Instruments PXI-7324 Motion Controller

Featured with 750,000 steps/s Step Frequency and 1 MHz Encoder Frequency, the National Instruments PXI-7324 is a 4-Axis Closed Loop Motion Controller. This Motion Controller offers programmable motion control with additional I/Os for home and limit switches. With the PXI-7324, the user will be able to achieve control for as many as four axes of motors. In addition, this model supports event-based motion profiling, point-to-point position, and velocity profiling modes. The National Instruments PXI-7324 can receive 0 to Vcc (Vcc = +5 V ± 3%) analog input at 8 bits resolution.

As far as its stepper performance is concerned, this model offers ± 2³¹ steps absolute position range and ± 2²¹ steps maximum relative move size. This Motion Controller comes equipped with a multi-channel ADC (analog-to-digital converter) for primary analog input operations and it provides four analog input channels on its external 68-pin motion connector. The digital I/O port of this Controller can be configured for general-purpose digital I/O functionality. This controller can also be used with a single-ended, TTL compatible active-low index input. 

The NI PXI-7324 allows the user to configure home and limit switch inputs as active-low or active-high enabled single-ended signals through software. The user has multiple options to choose from when programming the PXI-7324, since they can use National Instruments applications software, ValueMotion software, or ValueMotion VIs for LabVIEW. The National Instruments PXI-7324 has 0 to 12 V input voltage range for motion digital I/Os, including trigger inputs and limit switches. This Controller requires two PXI slots and 6 Watts of power for operation.

PXI-7324 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the motion controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
