National Instruments PXI-2534 PXI Matrix Switch Module

The National Instruments PXI-2534 (Part Number: 778572-34) is a Solid-State Relay, 1-Wire, 256-Crosspoint PXI Matrix Switch Module. This high-density switch is built to handle high-channel-count automated test systems efficiently as it tends to route 55 W simultaneously across all channels. When switching <20 V and 1 ampere, this switch module can deliver a scan rate up to 400 crosspoints/s. The NI PXI-2534 can be configured in a 1-wire 8 × 32 matrix topology.

This model comes equipped with high-quality SSRs featuring an unlimited expected relay life and 724 µs operate time. As many as 256 relays of this switch module can be derived simultaneously. The PXI-2534 can acquire ±55 VDC, 30 VACrms (channel-to-channel, channel-to-ground) maximum switching voltage and 1 Amps maximum switching current.

 The National Instruments PXI-2534 can send trigger signals via PXI trigger lines 0 to 7 at 1 µs to 62 µs (programmable) pulse widths and can receive triggers at a minimum pulse width of 70 n-seconds. This PXI Matrix Switch Module comes equipped with a 68-pin male SCSI type I/O connector. As far as its physical characteristics are concerned, the PXI-2534 is a lightweight, compact, 3U, one slot, PXI module. The weight and dimensions are 238 g and 21.6 × 2.0 × 13.0 cm respectively. While operating in a typical 50Ω system and one row to one column configuration, the NI PXI-2534 offers >2 MHz single crosspoint bandwidth and <-45 dB crosstalk at 10 kHz.
