National Instruments PXIe-2529 PXI Matrix Switch Module

The PXIe-2529 (Part Number: 780587-29) is a high-density, 128-Crosspoint, 2 Wire, PXI Matrix Switch Module from National Instruments. This module can be configured as either a 4x32 or 8x16 2-wire matrix by using different block accessories. One of the key advantages is its adaptability to switching needs. The NI PXIe-2529 device is designed to work well with both low- and high-voltage levels and can be configured into two matrices by changing the terminal block. The PXIe-2529 also has a deterministic operation with hardware triggers, which improves test throughput. This module is capable of multiple-module synchronization with hardware triggers, making it suitable for high-density or signal routing applications. The DC Path resistance of the module is a blend of relay contact and trace resistance. It is measured as the mutual resistance of the high and low signal paths from one row to one column. The contact resistance remains low until the life of the relay ends. At the end of relay life, the contact resistance rises rapidly above 1 Ω.
