Featured with 2 Multifunction MIL-STD-1553 Interface Modules, the LV-222-555-555 (Part Number: 784801-01) is a powerful Avionics Databus Interface Module with 4 channels. This module offers direct interference between your PXI system and STD-1553 databuses. You can use this system to access the resource on multiple avionics databuses with the help of any compatible PXI chassis. This module is a combination of two different types of modules. The base is a carrier module that offers single-lane PCIe connectivity between the contents of the interface module(s) and the host system. The second type of module utilized in the construction of this interface module is a PXI MIL-STD-1553 interface module. Each carrier module can host as many as two interface modules.

The default configuration of the LV-222-555-555 PXI MIL-STD-1553 Interface Module offers 4 channels. Each channel can be used for interfacing to a different avionics databus. Users can modify this module to achieve a higher channel count or to achieve interfacing across two different types of communication protocols by swapping one of the loaded interface modules with an ARINC 429 module. This PXI MIL-STD-1553 Interface Module supports various advanced functions. You can select only your desired type of traffic from a fully loaded avionics data bus with the help of this module. Each one of the four channels incorporated in this module is a multifunction channel.
