National Instruments PXIe-2790 PXI RF Multiplexer Switch Module

The NI PXIe-2790 (Part Number: 782576-01, 196806C-01L) is a solid-state power combined Multiplexer Switch Module that is well-suited for multi-DUT cellular and wireless connectivity production test applications. This module operates from 10 MHz to 6 GHz and has the capability to save RF path calibration details. This module also has fast switching times. The PXIe-2790 has a 50-ohm termination on channels and COM lines to minimize reflections of the RF signal.

The NI PXIe-2790 features high-performance solid-state relays that offer unique benefits such as an unlimited mechanical lifetime and front-mounted SMA connectors that enable easy connection to the user’s RF devices.

The PXIe-2790 PXI RF Multiplexer Switch Module has a minimum input frequency of 10 MHz, a maximum input frequency of 6 GHz, and a characteristic impedance of 50 Ohm. The maximum safe input voltage is +/-5 V. The operational shock is 30 g peak, half-sine, 11 ms pulse. While operating and nonoperating, the random vibration is 5 to 500 Hz, 0.3 grms and 5 to 500 Hz, 2.4 grms respectively. The NI PXIe-2790 recognizes trigger pulse widths less than 150 ns.

The National Instruments PXIe-2790 Multiplexer Switch Module features an FET switch and seven female SMA jacks. The power requirement for this module is 0.9 W at 3.3 V, and 0.6 W at 12 V.
