PXI Signal Insertion Modules
The PXI Signal Insertion Modules, otherwise referred to as Fault Insertion Units or FIUs by National Instruments, deliver a set of feedthrough channels which makes the switch transparent to the system when closed. The FIUs have electromechanical, reed, or FET relays and anywhere from 7 to 68 channels. The NI FIUs can be utilized for electronic reliability assessments or hardware-in-the-loop applications.
