National Instruments 785117-01 PXI Waveform Generator

Part number 785117-01 from National Instruments is the version of the PXIe-5433 PXI Waveform Generator that has only one channel. This channel supports independent waveform generation, making the generator an excellent choice for a wide range of testing setups. Equipped with 80 MHz of bandwidth and 16 bits of DAC resolution, the 785117-01 provides accurate measurements for a various applications. The referenced single ended output type of the generator is facilitated by a SMA connector. 

The standard function of the 785117-01 is capable of generating Sine, Square, Ramp, Triangle, and Arbitrary waveforms with various frequency ranges. The frequency of Sine waveforms generated by the device ranges from 0 MHz to 80 MHz. The Square, Ramp, and Triangle waveforms have the same frequency ranges- 0 MHz to 50 MHz for 2.75 Vpk-pk, and from 0 MHz to 30 MHz for 12 Vpk-pk. Waveform sizes ranging from 4 to 256,000,000 sample are supported by the Arbitrary waveform aspect of the 785117-01. In addition, the generator boasts a user-defined function that features a frequency range of 0 MHz to 80 MHz.

The robust 785117-01 is built for optimal functionality in various environmental conditions. The waveform generator can operate comfortably within a temperature range of 0 °C to 55 °C, and can be stored within a temperature range of -40 °C to 71 °C. The device measures 21.6 cm × 2.0 cm × 13.0 cm (8.5 in. × 0.8 in. × 5.1 in.) and weighs in at only 369 g (13.0 oz). The 785117-01 has a Gen 1 ×4 bus interface that is compatible with either hybrid of PXIe slots.
