National Instruments PXI-7953R PXI FPGA Module for FlexRIO

Featured with a Virtex-5 LX85 FPGA, the PXI-7953R (Part Number: 780562-01, 199119F-03L) is a Reconfigurable FlexRIO FPGA module. The LX85 FPGA offers 51,840 LUTs, 48 DSP48 Slices, and 3,456 Kbits of BRAM. The FPA also has 12,960 FPGA Slices. This module can be configured by the user through appropriate software programs for its deployment in a variety of measurement and data acquisition applications. The 66 I/O pairs provided on this device is of a general-purpose type that can also be configured as 132 single-ended signals.

The PXI-7953R has 128 megabytes of DRAM and can be deployed in any compatible PXI slot. This module is widely used in the construction of FlexRIO systems. A combination of the PXI-7953R PXI Module and a FlexRIO Adapter Module results in the formation of a fully, software-reconfigurable instrument that supports graphical programming through Verilog/VHDL or LabVIEW. This module is designed in the PXI form-factor can be coupled with any type of FlexRIO adapter module including a digital I/O or RF module.
