National Instruments PXIe-7962R PXI FPGA Module for FlexRIO

Featured with the peer-to-peer streaming capability and customizable I/O configurations, the PXIe-7962R (Part Number: 781206-01) is a PXI based FPGA Module. This module is specifically designed for the FlexRIO platform and can be configured to operate in either single-ended (SE) or differential modes. The peer-to-peer steaming provision of the NI PXIe-7962R makes it capable of sharing data with PXI Express modules or other FPGA modules without involving the host processor. With this transfer mechanism, you will be able to operate with a single FPGA algorithm across two or more FPGAs.

This module features an SX50T FPGA from the Virtex 5 family and has 512 MB of onboard DDR2 DRAM. You can easily customize the I/O of your device through the National Instruments kit for adapter module development (also known as MDK). The National Instruments PXIe-7962R PXI FPGA Module for FlexRIO offers data streaming at rates up to 800 MB/s through the 16 DMA channels. This module can also be used for the construction of reconfigurable instrumentation.

PXIe-7962R Mature Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the module will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
