National Instruments REM-11100 Voltage Input Module for Remote I/O

Featured with 4-wire, 2-wire, and 3-wire spring terminal-based connectivity, the National Instruments REM-11100 (Part Number: 784748-01) is a Voltage Input Module. This module is specially designed to be used with National Instruments Remote I/O Systems. Remote I/O is a National Instruments proprietary modular I/O system for industrial automation, machine control, and measurement. 

The NI REM-11100 is a 4-channel module, which can easily be deployed in conjunction with other remote I/O modules. This module and the remote I/O can provide you with greater flexibility at a lower cost. With this system, you won’t have to deploy an expensive, dedicated connector for less critical and complicated tasks. 

The National Instruments REM-11100 Voltage Input Module can easily be connected to its counterparts and the remaining control network through EtherCAT– the Ethernet standard that is widely used and recommended for industrial applications. This module allows you to choose from one of four input ranges: ±5V, 0 to 5 V, 0 to 10 V, and ±10V. The NI REM-11100 can supply the required power to sensors that are directly attached. You can easily integrate this module and other similar modules in your existing control system, since it comes with an EtherCAT bus coupler. 

The REM-11100 Voltage Input Module can easily be made a part of a sophisticated DCS or PLC based control system. This module features a 16-bit A/D converter and a 30 Hz input filter. In typical operating conditions and typical configuration, the NI REM-11100 consumes 1.83 watts of power maximum.
