National Instruments REM-11102 Current Input Module for Remote I/O

Designed for remote I/O systems, the NI REM-11102 (Part Number: 784747-01) is a 4-channel Current Input Module. This module supports 2-wire, 3-wire, and 4-wire configurations and can be used in a variety of control applications. The REM-11102 is deployed as part of a larger system called National Instruments Remote I/O. The NI REM-11102 module can be used with other remote I/O modules for the construction of a low-cost yet reliable control system. The National Instruments REM-11102 Current Input Module supports connectivity through spring terminals– a provision that enables fast deployment.

This Current Input Module offers simultaneous sampling, has a selectable input range, and an integrated power supply for sensors. The NI REM-11102 allows you to select an input range of 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 20 mA, and ±20 mA. The analog-to-digital converter incorporated in this module is a 16-bit converter that can operate with 31.25 μs conversion time. For communications, the REM-11102 Current Input Module draws around 120 mA of power from the bus connector. The total power consumption is 1.5 watts.

The National Instruments REM-11102 Current Input Module comes with a bus connector. This module can transmit or receive data at rates up to 100 MBits/s.
