National Instruments REM-11152 Digital Module for Remote I/O

Designed to read up to 5 kHz digital input frequency, the NI REM-11152 (Part Number: 784743-01) is a Digital Module from National Instruments. This module is designed for remote I/O applications that are vastly used in industrial environments. The REM-11152 is a simple modular device designed for measurements and machine control. This module can be controlled or commanded from an industrial controller or a real-time controller just like CompactRIO.

The NI REM-11152 is an ideal, low-cost solution available for safe handling of relatively simple and less critical industrial tasks. With this module, you will be able to allocate your hardware resources easily. This Digital Module comes with an integrated power supply and adjustable filters. The integrated power supply enables the REM-11152 to provide power to various kinds of industrial sensors. The NI REM-11152 has 16 input channels with 2.4 mA nominal input current and 24 VDC nominal input voltages. This module comes equipped with spring-terminal connectors. Thus, it can easily be connected to field sensors and devices without tools.  

The National Instruments REM-11152 Digital Module can communicate to a higher-level system through EtherCAT. A standard remote I/O system can include multiple REM-11152 modules connected to a single EtherCAT bus coupler. You can control multiple remote I/O modules with the help of a single controller. The NI REM-11152 supports type 1 and type 3 EN 61131-2 inputs. The sensor supply on this module has integrated protection for overload and short-circuit. The default time setting of the input filter is 500 μs.
