National Instruments RMX-4101 Programmable Power Supply Device

The National Instruments RMX-4101 (Part Numbers: 786009-01, 786006-01, 786008-01, 786007-01) is a Programmable Power Supply Device. This device is a rack mount, single channel, 2U size, DC power supply device. The NI RMX-4101 is capable of supplying 216 Watts of power with 100 VDC and up to 10 A current. The National Instruments RMX-4101 Programmable Power Supply Device is suitable for testing systems where multiple power rails are required.  

The NI RMX-4101 device is provided with interactive knobs for end users. Moreover, the National Instruments RMX-4101 Programmable Power Supply Device has multiple ports and analog control possibilities for remote use or for automation purposes, including LAN, Universal Serial Bus, and RS232 options. There is also an option for connecting multiple loads in parallel, which results in capacity enhancement for the end user’s system.  

The RMX-4101 can simulate real time loads that the power supply would see in real time applications. This is because the NI RMX-4101 device has a modular design with different modes of operation. The RMX-4101 has feedback protection. Whenever power changes its mode from CC to CV or from CV to CC, the device immediately shuts down the output. Feedback protection can be reset via the output button, through the COM port, or Enable on the rear panel. The National Instruments RMX-4101 also has protection for overvoltage. Overvoltage protection can be re-set by the same methods described for feedback protection. The NI RMX-4101 Programmable Power Supply Device has a transient response time of less than one milisecond.
