National Instruments SC-2052 Cable Adapter

The SC-2052 (Part Number: 776335-92) Cable Adapter is a member of the National Instruments SC-2052x Series. The NI SC-2052 has a 50-pin connector used for signal conditioning. The SC-2052 is a simple Cable Adapter with flexible interfaces for connecting devices. This Cable Adapter has the prominent feature of routing DAQ input/output devices, as well as adapting input/output signals from DAQ devices.  

The SC-2052 Cable Adapter is compatible with several types of devices, including the SC-204x, SC-206x, ER-8/16, 5B Series, and SSR Series analog and digital signal conditioning accessories. One can configure the SC-2052 for any type of signal conditioners like optical isolators, solid state relays, and analog signal modules. Optional rack-mount kits can be purchased separately for the NI SC-2052 as well.

With the SC-2052 Cable Adapter, the user can convert 32 digital I/O signals to standard pin connections for signal conditioning accessories. The National Instruments SC-2052 has two 50-pin male I/O connectors, four 26-pin male I/O connectors, and six screw terminals for connections. This Cable Adapter can be utilized with DIO-32 and 6533 devices. The SC-2052 Cable Adapter allows the user to change the accessory for a dedicated port by simply changing the connector between the SC-2052 and the desired accessory. Therefore, the user may use the same accessory for any supported DAQ device by connecting with the corresponding NI SC-2052.

SC-2052 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the cable adapter will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
