National Instruments SC-2070 Termination Breadboard       

The SC-2070 is a general-purpose Termination Breadboard. The NI SC-2070 board is constructed by National Instruments. The NI SC-2070 is a member of the SC-207x Series Boards by NI. The SC-2070 board can be used with NI Multifunction DAQ boards. Several NI DAQ Boards that are compatible with the NI SC-2070 board include boards for the Macintosh II computers, Personal System/2, and compatible computers, and IBM PC/XT/AT computers. The NI SC-2070 board is compatible to be used with NI NB Series, AT Series, MC Series, PC Series, Lab/1200 Series, and the PC-OPDIO-16 DAQ, digital I/O, and timing boards (with a few exceptions), as well as certain DAQCards.

This general-purpose Breadboard is equipped with signal-labeled screw terminals. The National Instruments SC-2070 can be utilized for analog signal conditioning. The NI SC-2070 makes linking analog and digital signals to the DAQ board a simple process in production, lab, and test settings. The breadboard section on the SC-2070 is designed for creating customized timing, digital, and analog circuits.

A maximum of seven thermocouples can be linked to the SC-2070 Breadboard, while utilizing a single channel to monitor the onboard temperature sensor for cold-junction compensation. The temperature sensor can be disconnected to ensure all 8 differential or 16 single-ended analog input channels are available. This Termination Breadboard has silkscreened component locations for resistors and capacitors for creating single-pole highpass and lowpass filters, broken thermocouple detectors, and voltage dividers.

SC-2070 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the breadboard will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
