National Instruments SC-2072 Termination Breadboard       

The SC-2072 is a Termination Breadboard. The SC-2072 is produced by National Instruments. The NI SC-2072 is available in two versions. The SC-2072D version comes with a DC-to-DC converter, which converts the +5 V input into +15 V and -15 V for utilization by analog circuitry. The SC-2072 version does not have a DC-to-DC converter. All other functions of the two versions are the same. The SC-2072 can be connected to NB Series, MC Series, PC Series, AT Series, the PC-OPDIO-16 DAQ, and Lab/1200 Series boards. The NI SC-2072 can additionally be connected to digital I/O and timing boards, along with some DAQCards.

The NI SC-2072 belongs to the SC-207x Series Boards by NI. The SC-2072 is built with a 50-position screw-terminal block, a 50-pin cable connector, and a 12-position screw-terminal block. The SC-2072 is utilized with NI DAQ instruments for the Macintosh, IBM PS/2 Micro Channel, and PC/AT/XT and compatible computers. The NI SC-2072 is compatible with several signal conditioning accessories, such as the SC-206X Series boards and SSR Series boards.

The NI SC-2072 is manufactured with screw terminals for all 50 signals available on the I/O cable. These terminals can be utilized for simple linking to the digital, timing, analog, and trigger signals from the expansion board. There are also a set of 12 terminals that can be utilized for linking 12 external signals. The SC-2072 is built with a group of 3 terminals for connecting digital power and ground inputs to an external power supply.

SC-2072 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the breadboard will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
