National Instruments SC-2350 Shielded Carrier

The SC-2350 is a Shielded Carrier. The NI SC-2350 was created by National Instruments. The SC-2350 correlates to the part numbers 778990-01, 778990-02, and 778990-03. The National Instruments SC-2350 Shielded Carrier is designed for E Series and M Series DAQ modules. The E Series and M Series DAQ modules have a 68-pin connector through which the SC-2350 is connected. A special feature of the SC-2350 is its ability to perform signal conditioning on a per-channel basis. When the NI SC-2350 is used with SCC Series modules, the signal noise is minimal.   

This Shielded Carrier incorporates 42 screw terminals. DAQ devices can be directly connected to these terminals for signal transfer. The SC-2350 is a portable device, so it can be used with desktop as well as laptop applications. The NI SC-2350 can also be connected to the configurable connectors if required. For this purpose, optional accessories are available separately, including a stack-mount or a rackmount.  

The SC-2350 Shielded Carrier is compatible with analog I/O SCC modules. The SC-2350 comes with configurable connectors. Moreover, a side cable connector is also available with the Shielded Carrier. The NI SC-2350 supports signal transfer with Class II smart TEDS sensors. A power module is pre-installed in the SC-2350. This power module is connected in Socket J21 of the SC-2350. The power module supplies digital power to the National Instruments SC-2350, whereas SCC modules are given analog power through this power module. LEDs are also installed to show the state of power for the power module.  

SC-2350 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Shielded Carrier will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
