National Instruments SCC-PWR03 Power Module  

The National Instruments SCC-PWR03 (Part Number: 183971-03) is a Power Module, used to supply power to the signal conditioning carrier modules SC-2345 and the SC-2350. The NI SCC-PWR03 Power Module provides +5V for the SC-2345 and SC-2350 signal conditioning carriers. The module can also provide ±15 V analog power in the SC-2345 and SC-2350 signal conditioning carriers. In order to check if the power supply module is functioning properly, the SC-2345 and SC-2350 have indication LEDs.

This Power Module converts an externally supplied voltage signal of 7 VDC - 42 VDC into +5 V and ±15 V signals. The module requires an externally provided DC power source, which is supplied by the user. In the SCC-PWR03, an external voltage source to be provided on the screw terminal of J1. Users need to wire the positive lead to the screw terminal which is labeled as 7 – 42 V and connect the negative lead to the GND labeled screw terminal. For the NI SC-2345, the carrier lead should be passed from the strain relief present on the front side of the enclosure.  

The National Instruments SCC-PWR03 Power Module has the reverse voltage protection of a maximum of -42 VDC, with an input power of 325 mA at 12 VDC.  The EMC requires the usage of a double shielded cable for all wirings or peripherals added by the end user.

SCC-PWR03 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the power module will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
