National Instruments SCXI-1102B Voltage Input Module

The SCXI-1102B (Part Number: 776572-02B) has a three-pole lowpass filter with a 200 Hz cutoff frequency, 32 differential channels, and DC input coupling. This module also has a cold-junction compensation sensor for temperature measurements. The inputs on this module can be multiplexed to one output, which in turn drives one DAQ device channel. Applications can be developed on the device using the NI-DAQmx driver software and other application development environments (ADEs) like LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, or Measurement Studio.

The SCXI 1102B has a differential input signal range of ±10 V when utilizing a gain of 1 or ±0.1 V when utilizing a gain of 100. The differential input range is the greatest measurable voltage variance between the positive and negative channel inputs. The common-mode input signal range of the NI SCXI-1102B Voltage Input Module is ±10 V. The common-mode input range for positive or negative channel input is the greatest input voltage that leads to an accurate measurement. Every channel on the SCXI-1102B module comes with input protection circuitry to endure the unintentional application of voltages to ±42 VAC peak or 60 VDC maximum. The user should keep in mind that going above the differential or common-mode input channel ranges will lead to an inaccurate signal measurement.
