National Instruments SCXI-1195 RF Multiplexer Switch Module

The National Instruments (Part Number: 776572-95) SCXI-1195 is a high-range unterminated Multiplexer Switch Module with the capacity to change signals from DC to 5 Ghz; This module has a maximum voltage rating of 30 Vms with a maximum changing current of 500 mA, which are ideal for applications that need signals inside ATE frameworks.  

This module offers 5 GHz of bandwidth, SMA direct connectivity, onboard relay counting, 50 ohms of characteristic impedance, insertion loss, VSWR, isolation specifications, and fully programmable software. In addition, this instrument has 1 slot for a 4U SCXI module and a Quad 4x1 multiplexer configuration. This module is compatible with operating systems like Windows 2000/NT/XP and Linux and software types like Visual Basic and C/C++.

The NI SCXI-1195 Multiplexer Switch Module incorporates a Relay Count Tracking feature intended to perform predictive maintenance to reduce unexpected system issues. This module also incorporates a maximum switching voltage of 30 V, a maximum switching current of 0.5 A, a maximum carry current of 0.5 A, and a maximum RF power of 10 W.

The NI SCXI-1195 can amplify throughput in robotized test applications by the utilization of scanning. This function enhances throughput by downloading a list of up to 32,000 connections with the switch and cycling through the list, utilizing an event (trigger) with no interference from the host processor.

SCXI-1195 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the module will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
