National Instruments SCXI-1362 Cable Assembly       

The SCXI-1362 is a Cable Assembly used to interface the 9-pin round DIN connector of the NI-4060 DMM and NI-4021 switch controller to SCXI switching systems. The greatest total cable length from the NI-4021 or NI-4060 to the farthest chassis should not be more than 10 meters. The NI SCXI-1362 is compatible with several SCXI switch modules, including the SCXI-1160, SCXI-1161, SCXI-1163R, SCXI-1190, SCXI-1191, and SCXI-1192. National Instruments launched this product.

The NI SCXI-1362 has different part numbers based on cable length. The part number of the SCXI-1362 kit with a one-meter cable length is 776575-621, while the kit with a two-meter cable length is part number 776575-622. This Cable Assembly can also be purchased separately as part number 776575-62. The compatible cable is the SH9MD-AUX cable, which can also be used during multichassis expansion to link two SCXI-1362 backplanes.

This Cable Assembly is categorized in the family group of SCXI interface series devices. The NI SCXI-1362 interface adapter board renders an interface to the chassis by a USB port and digital multimeter (DMM). The SCXI-1362 adapter board is compatible to work with chassis available with a 50-pin rear connector. The SCXI-1362 is equipped with low-noise capabilities.

The NI SCXI-1362 is CE, C-Tick, and FCC Part 15 (Class A) Compliant EMC/EMI compatible and must be used with shielded cabling. This Cable Assembly is considered as part of Installation Category II and Pollution Degree 2. The SCXI-1362 must be utilized with a UL-listed SCXI chassis.

SCXI-1362 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Cable Assembly will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
