National Instruments ISC-1752 Smart Camera

The ISC-1752 (Part Number: 781683-01) is a Smart Camera. The ISC-1752 is a product launched by National Instruments. NI has launched many Smart Cameras with several differing specifications. Each of these Smart Cameras is built with a processor, digital inputs/outputs, a vision system sensor, and rugged housing. Bar code reading, part location, assembly verification, and defect detection are some of the applications for NI-17xx Smart Cameras.

The ISC-1752 is a monochrome VGA Smart Camera. The NI ISC-1752 is a real-time target for machine vision. The ISC-1752 is a low-cost camera and features 640 × 480 pixels videography array (VGA). The ISC‑1752 is powered by a 600 MHz PowerPC processor. For an easily dispersed and compact vision system, the NI ISC-1752 Smart Camera is equipped with an onboard processor and a CCD image sensor. All the NI-17xx Smart Cameras use a standard C-mount lens. To directly power current-controlled third-party lights, the ISC-1752 contains an integrated direct drive lighting controller. The NI ISC-1752 also features 5 V TTL and one 24 V unregulated lighting control strobe output.

The input and output of the National Instruments ISC-1752 Smart Camera are manufactured with two isolated digital inputs and two optical isolated digital outputs; both can be used optionally. The ISC-1752 has one RS232 serial port. The NI ISC-1752 also contains two Gigabit Ethernet ports. The ISC-1752 is prepared with built-in a direct drive lighting controller and a quadrature encoder. The NI ISC-1752 Smart Camera can be configured with the included Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (AI) software. The ISC-1752 can also be programmed with the LabVIEW Real-Time Module and the Vision Development Module.  

ISC-1752 Maintenance Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Smart Camera will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
