National Instruments ISC-1774 Smart Camera

The National Instruments ISC-1774 is a Monochrome Smart Camera. This Smart Camera comes equipped with an Intel Atom 1.6 GHz integrated microprocessor and a CCD image sensor– a combination that provides an all-in-one system. The NI ISC-1774 offers high-quality image acquisition at fast rates. Not only this, but the built-in industrial communication options and digital I/O lines make this device capable of real-time, dynamic communication and synchronization with industrial automation devices.

The ISC-1774 can easily be configured for use with human-machine interfaces, programmable logic controllers, industrial machinery, sensors, and robotics. You can easily configure this Smart Camera by using the Vision Development Module and the LabVIEW Real-Time Module. This Smart Camera is a powerful combination of an image sensor, a processor, and digital connectors in a compact, IP67 rated rugged housing.   

The National Instruments ISC-1774 Smart Camera offers a resolution of 1,280 × 960 pixels. You can connect this Smart Camera to the development computer through a Local Area Network (LAN) if the development computer and the camera are connected to an identical subnet. For networking, a dedicated 100/1G connector is provided on the Smart Camera.

 The VGA output incorporated in the NI ISC-1774 can be used for real-time monitoring of inspection images. This Smart Camera comes in a completely waterproof and dustproof enclosure– a feature that makes this device an ideal solution for harsh factory and industrial environments. The NI ISC-1774 comes with four LED indicators to show the power and networking status of the device. The ISC-1774 is fully compatible with 10, 100, and 1000 Mbps Ethernet standards.

ISC-1774 Maintenance Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the smart camera will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
