National Instruments ISC-1783 Smart Camera

The National Instruments ISC-1783 (Part Numbers: 785153-01, 785155-01, 785152-01, 785154-01) is a 5 MP Smart Camera. This device is powered by an Intel Dual-Core, 1.58 GHz Celeron processor. The processor incorporated in this camera can offer up to 2.16 GHz burst frequency to keep the unit stable during peak load operations. This industrial smart camera can store thousands of images in its 32 GB internal, non-volatile memory.

The NI ISC-1783 can be used in conjunction with various industrial sensors, robotics, and control systems. The image sensor utilized in this smart camera is a CMOS camera that can acquire images in 2592 x 2048 resolution. Like its predecessors, the ISC-1783 is offered in color and monochrome variations. The color version of the camera can obtain samples at up to 21 fps. However, the monochrome variant is capable of offering up to 21 fps. The National Instruments ISC-1783 is designed to be operated in outdoor environments since it confirms to IP67 requirements.

This smart camera has one 8-pin female M12 network connector, one 12-pin male M12 VGA/USB connector, and one 12-pin female M12 digital I/O and power connector. As far as its power requirements are concerned, the ISC-1783 Smart Camera consumes 450 mA at 24 VDC. In addition to the other connectivity options, one standard 100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port is also provided.
