National Instruments SSR-OAC5 Output Module for SSR

The SSR-OAC5 is an Output Module for SSR devices. National Instruments manufactured the NI SSR-OAC5 module. The SSR-OAC5 module is manufactured with part number 776240-03. The NI SSR-OAC5 output module recognizes a data acquisition device’s logic value and performs controlling functions for external devices.

The National Instruments SSR-OAC5 Output Module is used with computers and interfaces via optical isolation to the field devices. The SSR-OAC5 Output Module is equipped with a 50-pin connector that is used to join a backplane to the data acquisition device. The NI SSR-OAC5 module is built for controlling devices such as conventional relays. The SSR-OAC5 has many similarities with conventional relays but a few differences. The NI SSR-OAC5 requires a load voltage, while conventional relays do not. The SSR-OAC5 module operates with a current rating of 12 mA.

The NI SSR-OAC5 Output Module for SSR needs a small amount of current from the controller to turn the module on. The SSR-OAC5 module is enabled with 120 VAC voltage. The NI SSR-OAC5 Output Module requires hardware accessories to employ module operation. Phillips 1 and 2 screwdrivers are required for installing the module. A cable or SC-205X device is needed for the operation as well. A data acquisition (DAQ) module is also mandatory for interfacing. The SSR-OAC5 Output Module is capable of operating with high-performance. 

SSR-OAC5 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Output Module for SSR will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
