National Instruments SWB-2833 Matrix Module for SwitchBlock

The SWB-2833, a product of National Instruments, is a Matrix Module for SwitchBlock systems. The NI SWB-2833 module comes with two NI part numbers: 781420-33 and 781421-33. The SWB-2833 features latchable electromechanical relays in its hardware design. The NI SWB-2833 Matrix Module is used to accomplish signal routing towards the testing object from various electronic instruments, including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and electrical power supplies. Through the deployment of the SWB-2833, the wiring of the test system is aligned and simplified, so the need for external involvement for the re-routing process is minimized. 

The SWB-2833 Matrix Module can be used in high power applications in multifunctional arrangements. As a single unit, the NI SWB-2833 module is available in a 4x71, 2-wire matrix configuration to perform with SwitchBlock systems. The SWB-2833 module is also capable of being expanded in different configurations. In a single carrier configuration, the NI SWB-2833 can be extended up to a size of 4x213 with a 2-wire configuration. Furthermore, when used in a single PXI chassis, the SWB-2833 module is expandable up to 4x852. The NI SWB-2833 Matrix Module supports a bandwidth of 10 MHz.

The SWB-2833 module provides 2 SwitchBlock slots for connections. The NI SWB-2833 comes with the latchable electromechanical relays with a no-load mechanical life of approximately 1x10⁸ lifecycles. The National Instruments SWB-2833 Matrix Module for SwitchBlock switches up to 2 A current per channel and 100 V voltage row-to-column. The maximum switching power of the NI SWB-2833 Matrix Module is 60W.
