National Instruments TPC-2206 Touch Panel Computer

The NI TPC-2206 Touch Panel Computer is used for the deployment of Human Machine Interface software packages in harsh environments. The NI TPC-2206 is developed by National Instruments. The TPC-2206 is helpful in developing a user friendly and complex interface with durability, flexibility, and various type of supports for Windows based controllers. The NI TPC-2206 can be easily connected with other National Instruments devices using high speed ports.

Prominent features of the National Instruments TPC-2206 include robust processing, high speed communication with other hardware by National Instruments, compatibility with Windows based embedded systems, and a vast range of operating conditions. The NI TPC-2206 includes two Gigabit supported Ethernet connectors, two high speed USB input/output ports, and two RS232 and RS422/485 serial communication ports. The robust processing for this Touch Panel Computer is accomplished by the Intel Atom Processor Z520PT 1.33 GHz with hyper threading, 1 GB RAM DDR2, and 4 GB of CompactFlash. The display of the NI TPC-2206 is 5.7 in. with a resolution of 640 × 480 VGA and a TFT LCD display.

The operating temperature range for the NI TPC-2206 is between -30° C to 85° C. The National Instruments TPC-2206 Touch Panel Computer has a resistive 4-wire touchscreen with a tempered glass base. The resolution of the touchscreen is 1024 × 1024. IEC 60950-1 and UL 60950-1 are the safety standards the Touch Panel Computer is designed for.  

TPC-2206 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Touch Panel Computer will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
