National Instruments DAQPad-1200 Data Acquisition Unit

The DAQPad-1200 is a cost effective and high-performance DAQ unit designed by National Instruments. This Data Acquisition Unit has three part numbers with different power options including, 776895-01 (US 120 VAC), 776895-06 (UK 240 VAC), and 776895-31 (Universal Euro 240 VAC). The NI DAQPad-1200 can communicate with a PC through compatible computers that have parallel ports.

This Data Acquisition Unit is compatible with both standard parallel ports and enhanced parallel ports. The DAQPad-1200 can also be connected with any device with a standard parallel port using a pass-through connector. For this purpose, the DAQPad-1200 is equipped with another parallel port connector. The NI DAQPad-1200 has 8 analog single-ended input channels. These input channels can be programmed by the user to be utilized as 4 differential channels.  

The DAQPad-1200 works with LabVIEW for Windows, LabWindows/CVI, Lookout, BridgeVIEW, Measure, ComponentWorks, and VirtualBench. The NI DAQPad-1200 supports NI-DAQ software. The DAQPad-1200 supports several power up options. This Data Acquisition Unit can be used with an AC Adapter and an optional BP-1 battery pack. The supported battery pack is rechargeable. Moreover, the NI DAQPad-1200 also supports a 9 – 42 VDC power source. The unit has software selectable analog input signal gains of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 with a variety of analog input signal ranges for both unipolar and bipolar. The DAQPad-1200 can be calibrated to maintain the accuracy of the analog input and analog output circuitry. Self-calibration is possible with this Data Acquisition Unit, which means you don’t need to open the unit to change trimpots or set jumpers.
