National Instruments USB-6000 Multifunction I/O Device

National Instruments offers the USB-6000 Multifunction Input/Output (I/O) Device for data logging and measurement applications. The NI USB-6000 device is accessible to consumers with two different part numbers: 782602-01 and 782603-01. Both devices hold the same performance parameters, but the latter model is a non-enclosed version specified for OEM applications only. The USB-6000 is lighter, which makes it usable in portable applications. Besides the light weight, the NI USB-6000 is an affordable device, thereby fulfilling multifunctional applications with techno-economic optimization. 

The USB-6000 Multifunction I/O Device supports both analog and digital inputs. The NI USB-6000 offers 8 analog input channels with 12 bits input resolution and can process at a sampling rate of 10 kS/s. In analog input operation, the USB-6000 device ensures a full-scale single-ended absolute accuracy of 26 mV. Besides analog input channels, the NI USB-6000 Multifunction I/O Device has 4 bidirectional digital channels. Moreover, the USB-6000 contains one 32-bit unidirectional counter, featuring a maximum input frequency of 5 MHz. The counter takes the PFI 0 function of the digital I/O channel as the source of activation. 

The NI USB-6000 Multifunction I/O Device is technically designed with respect to industrial environments. When the ambiance where electromagnetic interference can deter the accuracy of measurement, the USB-6000 is an appropriate choice since the device can withstand electromagnetic interferences. The NI USB-6000 device can be powered with a DC voltage range of 4.30 VDC to 5.25 VDC and an input current up to 150mA via USB.
