National Instruments VXI-MIO-64E-1 Multifunction I/O Module

The VXI-MIO-64E-1 Multifunction I/O Module is designed by National Instruments. The VXI-MIO-64E-1 is a single slot VXI C-size module with three different input modes: NRSE, RSE, and DIFF. The VXI-MIO-64E-1 has unipolar and bipolar input polarities. The VXI-MIO-64E-1 has a maximum sampling rate of 1.25MS/s and a resolution of 12 bits.

The VXI-MIO-64E-1 is a plug&play module. The VXI-MIO-64E-1 incorporates analog and digital I/O channels for the VXI bus. The VXI-MIO-64E-1 is comprised with a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter. The VXI-MIO-64E-1 features 64 analog inputs and voltage outputs. The VXI-MIO-64E-1 module also has two timers for timing modules. The resolution of the timers is 12-bits. In addition, the VXI-MIO-64E-1 also has 8 sets of digital I/O lines that are TTL compatible. The VXI-MIO-64E-1 uses the DAQ-STC for timer functions. The VXI-MIO-64E-1 modules use the VXI bus for synchronization of measurements in series modules of VXI-MIO. The VXI-MIO-64E-1 is compatible with the SCXI system of signal conditioning and multiplexing to receive over 3000 signals from different inputs like thermocouples, RTDs, pressure gauges, voltage sources, current sources, and communication signals can also be interfaced with this module.

Compatible software for this module includes LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Measure, ComponentWorks, Virtual Bench, NI-DAQ developed applications, and VXI plug&play instrument Driver. The NI-DAQ and VXI plug&play application drivers for interfacing with the VXI-MIO-64E-1 use the VXI-DAQ hardware through VISA driver Software. National Instruments has optional accessories available for use with the VXI-MIO-64E-1 that can perform different types of functions. These include SCXI modules and SC modules. The SCXI modules are used for isolation, multiplexing, and amplification.

VXI-MIO-64E-1 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the module will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
