National Instruments VXI-MIO-64XE-10 Multifunction I/O Module

The VXI-MIO-64XE-10 Multifunction I/O Module is designed for VXI systems. The VXI-MIO-64XE-10 is manufactured by National Instruments. Three input modes are used in the module. These modes are NRSE, RSE, and DIFF. Unipolar and bipolar are the input polarities available on the VXI-MIO-64XE-10. Moreover, 100 kS/s is the maximum sampling rate and 16 bits is the resolution of the VXI-MIO-64XE-10.

The National Instruments VXI-MIO-64XE-10 is a single-slot C-size module. The VXIplug&play feature is compatible with several types of modules for the VXI Bus. The VXI-MIO-64XE-10 supports both analog and digital I/O signals. The VXI-MIO-64XE-10 contains 64 voltage outputs and analog inputs for a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter, two 24-bit timers, and eight lines for digital I/O that are TTL compatible. A DAQ-STC is used by the NI VXI-MIO-64XE-10 for timer functions. The VXI-MIO-64XE-10 is compatible with SCXI systems. This feature enables the VXI-MIO-64XE-10 module to interface with multiple components simultaneously. Different components that can be interfaced with the module include RTDs, voltage and current sources, thermocouples, as well as pressure gauges.

This Multifunction I/O Module can also perform timer-related functions. For this purpose, a DAQ-STC system timing controller is available. There are 3 groups in the DAQ-STC controller. These groups are specified for AI, AO, and counter/timer functions. The NI VXI-MIO-64XE-10 module is equipped with 10 timers/counters. The maximum resolution of the VXI-MIO-64XE-10 timers is 50 ns. A special feature of the module is its ability to synchronize multiple measurement functions. The driver software that comes pre-installed with the VXI-MIO-64XE-10 module is NI-DAQ.

VXI-MIO-64XE-10 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the module will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
