National Instruments VXIpc-745/100 Embedded VXI Computer

Designed to be used in a variety of hardware and software arrangements, the National Instruments VXIpc-745/100 (Part Numbers: 776870-21, 777256-21, 776710-21, 777255-21, 777254-21, 776871-21, 777331-21, 777331-31, 777331-01, 777331-41) is an Embedded VXI Computer. This computer is widely used as a PC-compatible controller for PXI systems. The NI VXIpc-745/100 requires 1 VXI slot for deployment. With this module, you can achieve a low-cost VXI control solution since it is fully capable of working in slot 0 of VXIbus mainframes. However, you can use this module in any compatible VXI slot. As far as its hardware attributes are concerned, the NI VXIpc-745/100 is built as a single-width module that can be inserted in any C-size VXI mainframe. 

This Embedded VXI Computer comes equipped with a 15-pin VGA controller connector, 9-pin D Sub Serial connector, 1 TrigIn SMB connector, 1 TrigOut SMB connector, 1 Ethernet connector, and 1 keyboard connector. All these connecters can easily be accessed on the front panel of the device. The PC card expansion slot provided on the NI VXIpc-745/100 allows users to add a modem/fax or third-party peripheral cards. This Embedded VXI Computer is fully capable of operating as an interrupt handler or an interrupter for each VXIbus interrupt line available on a VXI mainframe.   

In its standard configuration, the motherboard of the VXIpc-745/100 comes with 64-bit accelerated graphics capability and 2 MB of EDO RAM. This Embedded VXI Computer comes with the Trident TGUI96xx – a PCI-incorporated video chip set. The NI VXIpc-745/100 can operate with either Windows or DOS. The operating system is installed and configured on the internal hard drive of the device. 

VXIpc-745/100 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the VXI computer will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
