National Instruments VXIpc-770 Embedded VXI Controller

Featured with a 566 MHz Celeron Processor and VXIplug&play compatibility, the National Instruments VXIpc-770 (Part Numbers: 778299-00 and 778299-01) is a 1-slot, VXI Controller. This controller is built with an Intel 815E chipset and designed to support various control applications. The NI VXIpc-770 is a rugged, small controller with some powerful features. This Embedded Controller is perfect for the direct controlling of triggers, VXI registers, interrupts, and memory. The hardware characteristics of this device enable you to enjoy the full functionality of a desktop personal computer in a VXI module.  The NI VXIpc-770 comes with an Intel 82815 integrated graphics controller.

This VXI Embedded Controller uses an integrated, battery-backed real-time watch. The battery incorporated is a lithium battery, which is a suitable solution for industrial applications. For monitoring, an application program a NI watchdog is also incorporated. With this VXI Embedded Controller, you can enjoy full hardware and software control of various VXI trigger lines with 2 SMB trigger I/O connectors. These two I/O connectors can be used for routing the TTL trigger line between external devices and the backplane.

The National Instruments VXIpc-770 is capable of responding to all VXI-defined protocols on all ECL and P2 trigger lines simultaneously. In addition, the internal counter offers sophisticated and reliable counting of interrupts and events on trigger pulses and edges. Moreover, the internal counter can also be fused for generating variable-length pules, pulse trains, and pulse stretching. If required, an external USB CD-ROM drive can also be attached to the NI VXIpc-770.

VXIpc-770 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the VXI controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
