National Instruments VXIpc-875B VXIbus Controller

The VXIpc-875B is a VXIbus Controller launched by National Instruments. The VXIpc-875B comes with four different part numbers. These part numbers are 779524-00, 779524-01, 779524-02, and 779524-03. These part numbers differ in the operating system that is installed in the controller. All other specifications remain the same. The NI VXIpc-875B is a plug-and-play controller designed with x86 processor architecture. The VXIpc-875B can be used to control VXIbus systems. For this purpose, the NI VXIpc-875B is designed in compatibility with different interactive utilities and C function calls. Moreover, Ethernet ports and an IEEE 488.2 interface are also supported by the VXIbus Controller.

The VXIpc-875B has standard I/O, which includes integrated video. This VXIbus Controller also has two PS/2 ports for a mouse and keyboard, two RS-232 serial ports, two universal serial bus ports, one GPIB port, one parallel port, one 10/100 Ethernet port, three SMB connectors, one, and one reset button. The NI VXIpc-875B has an Intel 815E chipset; this chipset offers support for 512 MB RAM and also provides interfacing for a 2.5 in. ATA100 hard drive.

This VXIbus Controller includes a wide Ultra2 SCSI port, an Intel Pentium III Processor, a computer speaker out jack, and two PC Card slots. The NI VXIpc-875B includes a single PCI expansion slot. The VXIpc-875B is designed to meet the requirements of the mentioned standards of safety for electrical equipment for measurement and control, and for laboratory use:

VXIpc-875B Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
