National Instruments PCIe-6323 Multifunction I/O Device

The PCIe-6323 (Part number: 781045-01) is an X Series Multifunction I/O Device by National Instruments. This Multifunction I/O Device offers next level performance with the fast throughput of the PCI Express bus. This interface helps deliver rapid and optimized throughput with the lowest possible inactivity. This model also has a built-in multicore-improved driver and application software. The NI PCIe-6323 offers a bandwidth up to 250 MB/s in all directions to each device.

The PCIe-6323 X Series Device is equipped with the NI-STC3 technology. This synchronizing and control technology offers an improved timing functionality. The NI-STC3 ASIC consists of autonomous analog and digital timing engines. It also includes retrigger-able measurement tasks and four counters/timers with extraordinary functionality. Another unique aspect of the PCI Express X Series Devices is the native x1 PCI Express interface, which delivers 250 MB/s maximum in every direction. This interface has been enhanced for minimal latency in single-point control applications.

The NI PCIe 6323 can be operated with Windows 7/Vista/XP/2000 operating systems. The PCIe 6323 NI is workable for a variety of applications, such as basic data logging and test and control automation applications. This device utilizes the NI‑DAQmx driver software. This software is compatible with different types of application software, including several versions of LabVIEW, along with Measurement Studio 7.x.

The PCIe 6323 has 32 analog inputs with 250 kS/s sampling rate. It also has 4 analog outputs with 900 kS/s sampling rate. Both types of channels have 16-bit resolution with the voltage range of 10V. Additionally, there are 48 digital I/O lines on the device.

The NI PCIe-6323 has four counters/timers for PWM and encoders. It is also viable for event counting, frequency, and much more.  The counters/timers have 32-bit resolution. This device additionally has two 68-pin VHDCI I/O connectors.
