National Instruments PCIe-6341 Multifunction I/O Device

The PCIe-6341 (Part number: 781046-01, 194986E-03L) is an X Series Multifunction I/O Device by National Instruments. Equipped with a 68-pin VHDCI I/O connector, the NI PCIe-6341 features 24 digital I/O channels, 2 analog output channels, and 16 single ended analog input channels (or 8 differential). Each channel has a sampling rate of 500 kS/s. The device boasts 16 bits of ADC resolution, as well as a timing resolution of about 10 ns- making it an excellent choice for test and measurement applications of all sizes. The PCIe-6341 multifunction device is structured with a standard ATX peripheral connector for disk drive power.

The bus interface of the PCIe-6341 has a x1 PCI Express form factor, and it is compatible with the PCIe slots of x1, x4, x8, and x16. The 8 DMA channels of the device can be used for a variety of functions, including analog input, digital input, analog output, digital output, or counter/timer (0 through 3). Designed for indoor use only, the NI PCIe-6341 should be used within an operating temperature range of 0 °C to 50 °C with a humidity of 10% to 90%. For storage, the device can be securely kept within temperatures ranging from 40 °C to 70 °C with a humidity range of 5% to 95%. NI recommends that the PCIe-6341 should be calibrated every 2 years- the devices requires approximately 15 minutes of warming up before calibrating.
