National Instruments PXIe-6368 Multifunction I/O Module

The PXIe‑6368 (Part Number:781058-01) is a simultaneous sampling, Multifunction I/O Module presented by National Instruments. This module can perform multi-function data acquisition. The NI PXIe-6368 has 16 differential Analog Input Channels with 16 Bit resolution. Each channel can perform at the maximum sample rate of 2 MS per second. The device has an input voltage range of ±1 V up to ±10 V. The PXIe-6368 has an analog input absolute accuracy up to 2688 µV. The Analog Input FIFO Buffer Size is up to 8182 samples. 

The NI PXIe-6368 has four Analog Output channels, which can perform at 3.3 MS per second for each channel. Each channel has a 16 Bit resolution, a timing resolution of 10 ns, and a timing accuracy of 50 ppm (of sample rate). It has an Analog Output voltage range of up to 10V. It is embedded with an advanced timing and synchronization technology, as well as an application software and a multi-core optimized driver. This module provides a new level of performance with the high-throughput PCI Express bus. The National Instruments PXIe-6368 Multifunction I/O Module has 48 digital I/O lines. Each terminal can independently programmable as input or output. The module has a pull-down resistor with 50 kΩ typical and 20 kΩ minimum.  The module provides input voltage protection up to ±20 V on up to two pins, and weighs 8.5 oz.

The device is fitted with 4 general-purpose counters, with a resolution of 32 bits. Additionally, it has a frequency generator with 3 base clocks: 20 MHz, 10 MHz, and 100 kHz–all have an accuracy of 50 ppm. The PXI-6368 has a power requirement of 8.2 W at 3.3 V, and 21.8 W at 12 V. It is equipped with 2 68-pin VHDCI I/O connectors.
