National Instruments USB-6341 Multifunction I/O Device  

The USB-6341 (Part Numbers: 781438-01, 782251-01, 782250-01, and 782254-01) is an X Series Multifunction I/O Device from National Instruments. This versatile and portable device features 16 single-ended (or 8 differential) analog input channels with an ADC resolution of 16 bits. The device is also equipped with 2 analog output channels and a total of 24 digital I/O/PFI channels. The part numbers of the NI USB-6341 differ depending on their connector type. Part number 781438-01 has a screw terminal front connector, while part number 782251-01 has a BNC front connector. Part numbers 782250-01 and 782254-01 both represent board-only version of the device, though they have different maximum sampling rates of 500 kS/s and 2 mS/s, respectively. 

Designed for precision, the NI USB-6241 I/O device offers a timing resolution of 10 ns and a timing accuracy of 50 ppm. Capable of DC input coupling, the device features input ranges of ±0.2 V, ±1 V, ±5 V, and ±10 V. Four general purpose counters can be found on the device, featuring 32 bits of resolution. Measurements are facilitated with internal base clocks, available in frequencies of 100 MHz, 20 MHz, and 100 kHz. For external base clocks, the frequency ranges from  0 MHz to 25 MHz. The NI USB-6241 has a recommended warm-up time of 15 minutes, and it is recommended to calibrate it at least once every 2 years.

The physical dimensions and weights of the NI USB-6341 differs depending on the connector type. The BNC connector version of the device weighs 1.520 kg (3 lb 5.6 oz) and measures 20.3 cm × 18.5 cm × 6.8 cm (8.0 in. × 7.3 in. × 2.7 in.), while the screw terminal version weighs 1.406 kg (3 lb 1.6 oz) and has dimensions of 26.4 cm × 17.3 cm × 3.6 cm (10.4 in. × 6.8 in. × 1.4 in.). The multifunction I/O device has a recommended operating temperature range of 0 °C to 45 °C. When nonoperational, the NI USB-6341 can be kept in an even wider storage temperature range of -40 °C to 70 °C.
