Pickering Interfaces Ltd. 40-914-001 PXI Chassis

The 40-914-001 PXI Chassis comes equipped with an industry standard, fourteen-slot PXI/cPCI backplane, which is coordinated into a 3U cardcage. The Pickering 40-914-001 PXI Mainframe is furnished with two removable modular power supplies on the left of the chassis. The power supply voltage status and error observing is possible through LEDs on the front panel of the chassis. Replacement power supply modules can also be purchased if necessary; the replacement is part number 44-901-003. Four 56cfm fans (224cfm altogether) guarantee significant cooling power for the chassis with only limited noise emitted. Swift channel media and fan maintenance is given by a removable fan tray. For applications like office or research center situations where acoustic commotion levels are dangerous, the Pickering 40-914-001 PXI Mainframe can be provided with either bring down speed fans or with fans whose speed can be set to full, medium, or slow with interior switches.

This PXI Chassis has all the features of the PXI specification. The System Controller opening is situated in Slot 1 of the Pickering 40-914-001 PXI Chassis. It has three controller development spaces, which are utilized for framework controller modules that are larger than one opening. These openings enable the controller to move to one side to keep the controller from spending fringe spaces. The Star Trigger (ST) opening is situated at Slot 2. This opening has a committed trigger line between every fringe space. This space is planned for modules with Star Trigger compatibility that can provide singular triggers to every other fringe.
