Spirent SmartBits LAN-3325A TeraMetrics XD Module

The SmartBits LAN-3325A is a TeraMetrics XD Module. The SmartBits LAN-3325A TeraMetrics XD Module is launched by Spirent Communications. The Spirent SmartBits LAN-3325A TeraMetrics XD Module contains 4 ports on its hardware interface. A unique feature of the Spirent SmartBits LAN-3325A TeraMetrics XD Module is the provision of the dual media Ethernet connectivity on each of the 4 available ports. All ports can be configured either as Mbps connection or as GbE Fiber Connection units. The Mbps connection can be configured as either 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, or 1000 Mbps. The SmartBits LAN-3325A module can be daisy-chained to form a customized test system with 2 to 768 dual media ports.  

The Spirent SmartBits LAN-3325A can execute full wire-rate traffic generation and full wire-rate traffic analysis on Layer 2 and Layers 3 DUTs. The stress or overload testing of an individual device or a complete network can be proficiently done by using the Spirent SmartBits LAN-3325A TeraMetrics XD Module. The Spirent SmartBits LAN-3325A module simulates millions of clients and servers and transmits millions of IP flows simultaneously to perform the stress testing of the devices and/or networks. To perform Gigabit Ethernet Fiber testing, the SmartBits LAN-3325A needs an SFP transceiver. 

The SmartBits LAN-3325A TeraMetrics XD Module can carry out testing of layer 4 to layer 7 categories with a real-time higher degree of traffic and protocol features. Numerous protocols can be simulated on the ports of the Spirent SmartBits LAN-3325A TeraMetrics XD Module simultaneously to achieve a comprehensive and detailed wire-rate traffic analysis on large routed networks.
