Spirent SmartBits SMB-10 Chassis

The SmartBits SMB-10 is a chassis for the connection or cascading of multiple Spirent SmartBits devices. The designer of the SmartBits SMB-10 chassis is Spirent Communications. The Spirent SmartBits SMB-10 multi-port chassis can accommodate up to a maximum of 80 modular ports, thereby providing a customizable SmartBits product for large-scale modular designs of SmarBits units in the industry. With a wide range capability of 1 to 80 ports, the Spirent SmartBits SMB-10 chassis provides a flexible and efficient testing platform for a simple to a complex network of components. 

The Spirent SmartBits SMB-10 multiport chassis can support up to a maximum of 20 SmartCards on its ports. Moreover, the Spirent SmartBits SMB-10 multiport chassis requires an external ET-1000 or SMB-1000 device to drive its operation. The provision of SmartApplications can help users in customizing the test programs as per users’ requirements. The new applications can be developed and available applications can be modified with the assistance of SmartLib and the programming library of ET-1000. 

The Spirent SmartBits SMB-10 multiport chassis can be integrated with three additional SMB-10 units or SMB-1000 units to generate an 80-port system. With the flexible and user-defined features, multiple transmission modes with precise monitoring of the data rates of the overall network can be performed with the Spirent SmartBits SMB-10 multiport chassis. Local Area Network (LAN), ATM, and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet SmartCards can be supported by the SmartBits SMB-10 chassis. The Spirent SmartBits SMB-10 multiport chassis is compatible with the operating systems Windows, MS-DOS, and UNIX. The SmartBits SMB-100 chassis can help perform monitoring, error and trigger analysis, latency measurement, and packets analysis by accommodating multiple SmartBits test devices.
