The SmartBits SMB-2000 is a high-class network performance analysis system. The SmartBits SMB-2000 performance analysis system is fabricated by Spirent Communications. The Spirent SmartBits SMB-2000 performance analysis system is a 20-slot chassis capable of housing several SmartCards for Ethernet, Frame Relay, and ATM applications. A 10 Mpbs Ethernet connection is supported by the SmartBits SMB-2000 chassis for the connection with the host PC. One of the promising features of the SmartBits SMB-2000 chassis is its flexibility of the scale. Multiple SmartBits SMB-2000 chassis units can be stacked together to accommodate a total of 640 ports. These extended 640 ports can be controlled locally as well as remotely over the internet. The local connection of the SmartBits SMB-2000 chassis is made via an RS-232 port. 

 The Spirent SmartBits SMB-2000 performance analysis system is supplied with the software tools Smart-Window, SmartLib, and SmartApplications, which result in an improved, efficient, and flexible human-machine interaction. Moreover, the Spirent SmartBits SMB-2000 chassis comes with the RJ-45 type jacks for expansion purposes.
